The Origin Story
People ask us all the time, “How did you guys end up getting together to form Red Ladder?” Brandon and I have very different, yet similar backgrounds and values. He is from Northwest Indiana, in a small town about an hour from Chicago. I am from a small town in Iowa about an hour from Omaha. We both ended up involved in real estate as a side business while working our day jobs, and met each other after both trying to buy the same house (Brandon lost, BTW).
We are both “Family First” guys who love to travel, and we are both involved in charitable organizations and believe in giving back to the community. We are also both really competitive and hate losing, so Brandon decided to look me up to see who was beating him out on house deals. After becoming friends and talking about it for several months, we decided to quit our jobby jobs and take the leap and go full time into buying and selling houses.

Red Ladder Property Solutions is local to Omaha and is owned by a couple of guys who know this real estate market like the back of our hands.
We have bought and sold 100+ properties and have over 20 years experience in the real estate business.

Obviously, flipping houses can be an exciting business and a great way to make money. But, the most satisfying part about what we do is the countless times we have been thanked by owners of properties that we have met with. We have been hugged, our shoulders cried on, and high fived so many times that I have lost count. We obviously can’t buy every house we look at, but it makes me feel just as good to meet with a homeowner and give them practical advice about their situation as it does to buy a great flip project. If we know that there is a better option for you than selling to us, we will make sure you know what it is and how to do it.
The reality is, we buy other peoples’ problems. Most of the time, it isn’t actually the house itself that is causing stress, it is something else (job loss, divorce, disability, death in the family, etc.). The house just ends up representing a big problem. Once the house is sold, a huge weight is lifted and a fresh start can finally be achieved.
